I have come to realize that I love to learn about Jesus and get other people’s perspective on Him. When I am able to set time aside to feed myself spiritually I like to listen, learn and glean from many, but here is a short list of some of my favorites. In addition to learning, sometimes doing and helping can be essential to growing.
Also, I could use all the help and insight out there about walking along side your adopted child and pointing all my kids towards Jesus as I parent. These few books in particular have helped me:
+ The Connected Child - Karyn B.Purvis
+ Twenty Things Adopted Kids Wish Their Adoptive Parents Knew - Sherri Eldridge
+ Once They hear my Name - Ellen Lee, Marilyn Lammert, Mary Anne Hess
+ What a Difference a Mom Makes - Dr.Kevin Lehman
+ Before You Were Mine - Carissa Woodwyk, Susan TeBos
+ The Circle Maker - Mark Batterson
